Meet Stephanie Tan DMD

Dr. Stephanie Tan was born in the Midwest and grew up in the South receiving her Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Georgia and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Louisville. Having worked with children most of her life through baby-sitting, tutoring, and volunteering with youth groups at church, working with kids has always been an aspiration for her in dentistry. Dr. Tan completed her two-year pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Colorado where she received extensive training treating emergencies, working with patients who have special health care needs, learning behavior management skills with Child Life Specialists, and offering multiple treatment modalities including care in-office, under sedation, and general anesthesia.

Dr. Tan is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and the Indiana West Central Dental Society.

Fun facts about Dr. Tan include: she has a minor in music as part of her undergraduate education, she has hiked mountains that are over 14,000 ft, and she enjoys traveling in her spare time. She looks forward to serving the Lafayette community in providing quality oral healthcare for the next generation.
